This is really cool!
I love recycled things, and I love necklaces. So when my good friend Tara of Handmade By Tara told me she’d recently gotten some recycled paper pendants, and was going to start offering them for sale… we both thought, “Giveaway!” What a perfect way to introduce them.
They are exactly what they sound like… strips of recycled paper, refashioned into a pendant, and then hung from a black cord. Awesome, right? Each one is a one-of-a-kind, so no two are exactly alike.
Want to win one of your own? I have one up for grabs, similar to the one pictured, for one lucky reader. It’s on a black leather cord (about 16 inches) with a silver clasp. Here’s what you need to know!

Something I would like to do for myself this year, but not sure if I will yet, is get another tattoo. I want the Hebrew phrase “child of God”. Still thinking and praying about it.

I am continuing my yoga teacher training and am sooooooo blissed out!
Oh that’s gorgeous. One thing I’m doing for myself this year is I’ve started making it a priority to meditate twice a day. Not for a huge amount of time but AT LEAST 10 minutes in the morning and in the afternoon, a little centering of the mind does wonders for me staying a pleasant person to be around. 🙂

In 2012 I’m running my first half marathon!
I love recycled paper anythings! I spend a majority of my time making beads out of scrapbook paper.
I would love this. AND in 2012, I am doing the same thing I ALWAYS do for myself. Taking ME time. Time to build and create, because those are the moments I come alive!

I love this and will definitely be checking out her page. Thanks for sharing, I love recycled paper items. I have started taking at least an hour a day to myself and hide out on the third floor and walk on the treadmill and read, watch tv, or sometimes nothing at all!! I feel great for actually getting exercise and some quiet time to myself!

Bonus entry! I am also going to my gym on an almost daily basis. Nolan gets his much-needed playtime with other kids and I get to listen to MY music, listen to or read a book, or catch an interview that I’m interested in. My stress levels have gone way down.
